World elite, soon world released?

February 13th 2010 16:50
Another member of TNA's forgotten superstars, Homicide has been growing increasingly frustrated in TNA, there were promising sides when he turned heel and the possible feud with Jeff Hardy to begin seems to have been put on ice. TNA's management has soon forgotten about World Elite since Daivari was given his release from the company, Cody Deaner soon followed and now one must ask, where's Homicide headed? Some have said the frustrated TNA star had asked for his release last year only to be denied his release. Hernandez has now started to be pushed to the moon, Homicide was pushed as a possible future heel but then TNA just forgot.

Homicide is a talented X Division worker most have bore witness to his exceptional skills throughout the Indy scene including Ring of Honor, TNA signed him in around 2005 apart of the Latin American Xchange (LAX) and paired him with the previously released Hernandez and now Hernandez appears to be growing amongst the TNA locker room, and the talk is there are more pushes for him, but what about Homicide? Being a fan of Homicide and watching his skills in FIP, ROH, and other promotions, losing such a talent would be sad to see.

Kiyoshi (Akira Raijin) also appears to be another international wrestler that is on the way out, decked out in the face paint like his idol Muta, Kiyoshi has had some good matches but really apart from his part in World Elite has yet to find his niche in TNA. TNA still run their web matches and their explosion show as well so both would get some time there some time in House Shows and such.

TNA needs another TV show and needs to find a way to use Homicide as the heel he has turned into, and there is a way they can use him at the next PPV on Sunday (Monday AEST) costing Hernandez his title shot would be a perfect way for a guy like Homicide to get more heat and would also see the former LAX partners feud a bit. Throw in Kiyoshi as his partner and they could battle for the Tag Team Titles.

TNA are by the looks of things pushing both Morgan and Hernandez towards the main event spot slowly there were ideas of flying him to Mexico and have him work there a bit and try and pump him up down there to get them on the Hernandez bandwagon to not only get more fans behind him but to make him look like a big star down there. The idea has merit, but can that really catch on?

Homicide I like because he's a good worker I haven't seen a great deal of Kiyoshi what I have seen has been good, but really TNA doesn't seem to have any plans for either. Homicide looked to be feuding with Jeff Hardy on the January 4th ImPACT and then Hardy vanished, and really do did Homicide. Homicide is not the only worker that appears to be out in the cold. Jay Lethal too appears to not be the star that the new Hogan regime seems to see as having much of a future. Drop the Randy Savage gimmick and have him return as something better and let him showcase his skills. Lethal, Creed, Homicide are workers that can put on awesome matches.

I could see WWE interested in Homicide, but I think he would get lost in their development system and may never resurface there, it's the same with Lethal, and Creed. Homicide does not strike me as someone that will quickly change to the WWE style, Lethal could, Creed would if he had a job there but these are just my thoughts if WWE was to sign them, who knows what could happen?

TNA does have three superstars there that are currently lost in the TNA reshuffle, they have more not knowing what the future holds already gone from TNA under Hogan has been Cody Deaner, Scott Steiner, Alissa Flash. Bashir wasn't really a casualty of the new regime as he wanted out before the new changes were in place. He's now at Ring of Honor, and I would hope that he can make a decent impact there and maybe one day someone will give him a character that is not a stereotypical anti-American type.

But it does seem that World Elite is dead, Eric Young appears ready to do his own thing with Kevin Nash, The British Invasion are growing as a stand alone stable now, with possibly Rob Terry close to maybe leaving that stable, but who knows? World Elite are dead but it could mean that Homcide and Kiyoshi are the next to be world released.
