Pretty good episode of Raw this week, I thought.
The opening segment was alright I suppose, although it wasn't anything we haven't seen a million times before. The crowd don't seem to be that much into Jericho as I imagined they would be-- he definitely isn't getting 'main event face' pops. Hopefully he turns heel soon, because everyone knows Heel Jericho >> Face Jericho.
Speaking of things we've seen time and again, the divas tag matches are getting pretty boring. And it was surprising to see Beth squash Mickie so easily considering they have a match at the PPV.
Reading around the net, and it seems most people are hating on the Kennedy/imposters segment but I didn't find it too bad. Wasn't comedy gold or anything, but I admit to chuckling a few times (I popped for Razor's pyro!! lol).
Wow. So Hogan is going to be on the 3 hour Raw next week?! Interesting. They have a pretty nice lineup (Hulk, Bischoff, Austin, Trish)- hopefully it's a good show.
I'm glad they added the No. 1 Contender stip to the HHH/Hardy Armageddon match as without it, it would be completely pointless. I'm enjoying the buildup to it now.
The APA was a huge surprise!! The crowd probably didn't pop for it too much cause JBL is meant to be a heel, but it was still a great moment and made a Hornswoggle-surprise-victory/ Carlito-burial segment even better.
I'm so happy they had Hardy beat Snitzky and end his undefeated streak. Snitsky is useless and hopefully this means that he isn't going to be pushed so hard any more. Keep him on Heat.
Stephanie's cameo was a nice surprise I suppose, but pretty pointless. Vince could've had the same conversation with Coach or Regal to the same effect.
Where the heck was Flair ??? After being the MVP and central figure of the show last week, he's not on- and barely mentioned- in this week's ep. No Santino was also disappointing.
IF YOU MISSED IT: None of the matches were anything to write home about it, but the APA return (and the Kennedy segment too, I suppose) are worth checking out if you're interested.
