WWE Raw (August 15) thoughts

Nothing great (or even good) wrestling-wise on this show, but it was still an entertaining-enough episode, highlighted of course, by the hilarious WWE Idol!
I'm not the biggest fan of this illigitimate-child storyline (or having Vince be the main focus of everything once again), but I guess they did have to come up with another cliffhanger considering they dropped the Limo-Explosion one. Everyone (thanks to the Net) think it's going to be Kennedy, but I wouldn't be surprised if WWE pull a swerve and change it to someone else now that the original plan was leaked. I don't know how these storylines get leaked; surely Vince can try and find out, as it had to have come from a WWE employee.
The finish to the Cryme Tyme V Cade/Murdoch match was a bit weird (with the face using the chair to get the DQ), but I am intrigued where they're going to go from here.
I wouldn't be surprised if The Highlanders were the next two to get released. They haven't really gotten over and they're made to job each and every week. Perhaps putting Roddy Piper with them as a permanent manager would do the trick, but I can't see them doing that.
WWE Idol wasn't as good as The Dating Game was last week, but it was still very funny! Hopefully there will be more of these things in the next few weeks. Santino Marella was absolute gold, once again. I've always said, WWE's humour is always hit-and-miss. All the Vince 'indescresion' jokes throughout the show weren't funny at all, but WWE Idol most definitely was a hit!
In my opinion, WWE are right to not make HHH or Rey return live to TV before Summerslam. I'm sure the show will draw a pretty big buyrate because of it, and if it does, I can see this happening a lot more in the future (returning stars coming back straight to PPV, not on TV).
They'd probably end up doing it with Lashley (against Kennedy).
The main-event was the best match of the show, mainly due to the very hot crowd (even though they were more intent to do their "Let's Go Cena" "Cena Sucks" duelling chant than pop big for Umaga which I'm guessing was the intention). I'm liking Umaga as a face, by the way. Will be interesting to see what they do with him next.

IF YOU MISSED IT: Unfortunately, WWE's return to the Garden wasn't as great as it should've been. The only segment I'd reccommend to watch for those who missed it is the WWE Idol one which, like the dating game last week, was very, very funny.

The wrestling was not really good, but everything else was fine. Plus I got two shows in one, so I won't complain.
It's true the storyline of Vince's illegitimate child is not the best one, but is going somewhere (I hope) and I want to keep on watching to find out. And that's what it's all about making plp watch right.
I want Cryme Time to turn heel and WGTT to turn "gray" or something lol; those guys are talented and need a deserved push, not made one of them job to Cody Rhodes.
I may say that too much Vince, but he and Coach where hilarious this time and Linda appearance was short and sweet.
