So Elimination Chamber has come, and gone, and the fallout has been received on RAW, so I thought I'd go through it, match by match.
RAW Elimination Chamber
The RAW Chamber was...... interesting to say the least, I loved the continuity nod with Kofi look behind him on the way to the ring, we saw the re-re-restar of a Legacy breakup, with Rhodes tossing in a pipe for Orton, and DiBiase taking it, aiming for Cena and hitting Orton, then Cena, and pinning Orton. Sheamus was pinned by HHH, who then tapped to Cena for his 6th WWE Championship. ***
Cena vs Batista
Eugh.....I wasn't much of a fan of Cena winning then this......
So Vince comes out and tells John he has to defend his title against....Baaaaaaatiiiisttta aaaaa.
John Cena punches Batista, Batista Clotheslines Cena, Batista Bombs him. 1...2...3. Cena/Baista for Mania.....ehhhh. *
McIntyre vs Kane
It wasn't horrible, but together I don't find the two interesting and I lost interest in the match. Glad that Drew retained, and I love his new music, it is great! **
LayCool vs Maryse/Gail
Eugh. Bait and Switch, and a bad one at that. A boring match, and nothing too it.... * 1/2
The Miz then cuts an awesome promo on Daniel Bryan, god he's awesome... Then MVP makes his appearance and a match for the US Title is set up.
Filler promo with Regal hyping NXT, Edge comes out and SPEAR!!!!!!!!!!s Regal for no real reason.
Miz vs MVP
Love Miz.
Not MVP.
Mehish match, loved the old Henry killing the barricade spot, then Big Cheerleader Show punches out MVP, and the ref has to grab all the belts. heh. **
SD! Elimination Chamber
Match of the Night. Loved all of it, from Punk's promos, to Rey and JoMo's spots, to HBK superkicking Taker. I loved it. Punk is on fire right now. Jericho/Taker was great towards the end, and Jericho is god. HBK coming from under the cage and superkicking Taker and not looking away from him was brilliant. Jericho is Champ againt. I marked big time. Taker got burnt by his pyros for his entrance and got pissed. Big time. Nice cover up by Cole though. ***1/2
This has been my poorly written, largely unentertaining Elimination Chamber Report.
