ECW December 6 thoughts

Not a bad ep of ECW today. I enjoyed it.
Miz/Morrison V The Majors was alright. I wish the Majors would do that double leapfrog spot again (which they used to do in their earlier matches)-- that was always awesome to look at. And it's good how they've been giving the Majors some interview time lately (via the box in the corner of the screen) to establish some personality.
I liked that video package for the new Jamaican wrestler. It's been a while since they've done these type of vignettes to introduce someone new. And it's interesting how similar it is to Carlito's ones, especially with Carlito being (apparently) on his way out.
The mixed tag match was decent too. Not spectaclar by any means but not bad for a little midcard TV match. Kelly Kelly was mega over! And she put on a much better performance than she did in that stinker of a match she had with Layla last week. And Balls Mahoney continues to be great!
I feel weird saying this, as he's usually pretty crap on the mic, but that was a pretty good promo by Shelton and I look forward to seeing where his push is going. "There aint no stopping me nnnoooooowwwwww!" is a pretty good catchprase for him, I reckon. His match with Jimmy Wayne Yang was good too.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Thorn is part of the next roster cleanup. Without the vampire/goth look and gimmick, there's nothing that seperates hims from any other generic big guy.
And finally, the Punk/Henry main event wasn't as bad as I thought and was actually quite watchable. Punk/Kane V Henry/Daddy V is an interesting choice for a PPV match-- I expected them to just have Punk defend his title like always, but it's good that they're doing something different and the match hopefully won't be too bad.
IF YOU MISSED IT: Nothing you need to go out of your way to see, but if you're home and the replay's on, you might as well watch it as it was an alright show.
