Bobby Lashley departs TNA?
February 10th 2010 09:13
Bobby Lashley's profile has been removed from the Superstar Roster page on TNA's official website, which suggests he may have parted ways with the company.
While there is no official confirmation that Lashley has parted ways with the company, he has stated in various interviews that he'd leave wrestling behind to focus on his mixed martial arts career if he felt being a part of TNA was taking away from his training.
Lashley had a successful debut for the Strikeforce MMA promotion
two weeks ago and is rumored to be fighting on the company's next big CBS show on April 17th.
It's worth noting that Hulk Hogan recently told Sports Illustrated that he and Lashley would be having a "serious talk" about working for TNA and Strikeforce at the same time. Hogan said that he told Lashley, “You can’t put them [Strikeforce] ahead of us. That’s not going to work me. I’m going to fix that real quick.”

TNA could be doing another one of their storylines as Lashley was fired on TNA Impact and it would not surprise me if he was just involved in a storyline, TNA has officially released Scott Steiner, with the news that Hall and Waltman could also be gone from TNA it does seem that some trimming of the fat as they say has been done at TNA.
TNA has seemed to be reluctant to push Lashley in the company as they were unsure where his head really was, if he was going to stay with the company or depart for Strikeforce for his MMA career. TNA did the right thing I feel keeping him around but not giving him that big push because you would have hated to have a guy pushed to a World Title for example and have him leave for another career leaving you to work another angle to get things working.
I'd also assume his wife would leave TNA as well, since she was not really under contract anyway.
