Awesome Kong remains with TNA

February 6th 2010 04:39
Former TNA Knokout & Current Knockout Tag Team Champion Awesome Kong

TNA has denied Awesome Kong's release request before they headed to England for their tour, Awesome Kong was involved in a backstage punch on with Bubba The Love Sponge recently after his remarks about Haiti and since then she has requested that TNA grant her a full release from her TNA contract.

Kong has been working a fund raiser for Haiti's victims of that tragic Earthquake that has seen so many people's lives destroyed, families losing loved ones, and many people losing houses and being seriously injured. At last check there were 200,000 people dead or missing and to have Bubba comment on this is such a very negative way on his twitter page was not a very good look.

Forgetting what Kong did to Bubba, he would have, and has brought a few negative comments on TNA by his comments, he's now employed by TNA and as such has to act in a way that brings a positive outlook on TNA. This he failed to do and as such he should have been given a very stern talking to. Reports now suggest that there is a possible angle coming from this, well I really hope this issue is put to bed for good.

Awesome Kong is a very talented worker, for her size, and she has a lot of ability and it would be a shame to see her leave the company, thankfully after some talk, she is remaining with TNA, and this will hopefully end any disagreements there. Bubba The Love Sponge needs to be put on notice as well to keep him from making anymore stupid remarks that are going to effect long term workers of this company.

Thankfully for all right now it seems that TNA is back into some sort of harmony, even though Alissa Flash asked for her release and was granted, she was not used much since they started the angle and on January 21st she was granted her release, it seems to have been a release that was not anything to do with this mess. it is a shame to see her go, she had a lot of potential that TNA really missed the ball with.

She is now back with Shimmer Women's Athletic, a tag team of MsChif and Alissa Flash in TNA could have been an awesome thing for the TNA Knockouts Division. Maybe in the near future the paths of Alissa and TNA will cross again and they will have someone decent there pushing her the right way.
