As of today Awesome Kong remains with TNA, despite reports that she was granted her release. Awesome Kong's profile still remains on the TNA website after the recent roster updates to include Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, and Shannon Moore to the roster. Kong and Hamada were stripped of the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles TNA used the "They have not defended the titles in 30 days" excuse to strip them of the belts, various reports have said that TNA and Kong have reached an agreement to her termination but still she remains.
It is still yet unclear if Kong will remain with TNA, perhaps TNA and Kong are trying to reach a compromise with the Bubba The Love Sponge situation.
